Our concept centered on immersing ourselves in the personal narratives and firsthand accounts of individuals profoundly impacted by Mr. Lee’s policies, vision, and leadership. Collaborating closely with our clients, we crafted a storyline that featured two primary school girls assigned to explore Mr. Lee’s legacy as part of a school project. This narrative led them on an enlightening journey through their neighborhood, where they engaged with a diverse array of individuals to gain insights into how Mr. Lee’s enduring values continue to yield tangible benefits for the residents of Aljunied-Hougang. They will then present their findings in a scrapbook.
Our aim was not only to celebrate Mr. Lee’s accomplishments but also to highlight the ongoing relevance of his principles in the lives of ordinary citizens. We wanted our audience to see themselves in the stories we presented, recognizing that the legacy of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew continues to be a part of their daily life.

Creating a heartfelt slideshow tribute for the outgoing president, Halimah, was a labour of respect and appreciation. Carefully curating a collection of impactful images and memorable moments, we pieced together a visual narrative that encapsulated her journey as a leader. The slideshow was a fusion of pivotal moments in her presidency, showcasing her dedication, achievements, and the positive impact she had on the nation.
Each slide was a testament to her unwavering commitment to serving the people and her role in shaping the country’s path. History, Vision & Values in Your Commemorative Video
Featuring a company’s history, vision, and values can provide viewers with a deeper understanding of your company’s journey. You can showcase your company’s growth, milestones, and accomplishments, while also explaining what the company stands for and what makes it unique. Try to keep your messaging clear and concise, while also using relevant visuals to enhance the viewing experience. Through highlighting your mission and values, the goal is to engage and inspire your viewers.
Using Interviews along with Q&A in Your Commemorative Video
Videographers: Melvin Mak, Rachel Ong | Video Editor: Gwendolyn Koh
Interviews and Q&A sessions in commemorative video production can help tell a company’s story or honour the individual’s contribution. Interviews with employees, customers, partners, and suppliers can provide a unique perspective and increase credibility. Allowing the audience to connect with the company more effectively.
Q&A sessions provide a structured format for presenting valuable information about the company or individual’s history, values, and vision. And can be a targeted and concise way of communicating specific information.
It’s essential to plan for relevant and engaging questions while making the interviewees feel comfortable and relaxed. Very often, it is recommended to have the interview process scripted through a discussion with the interviewee beforehand, to keep the filming process efficient. A teleprompter can also be used in the interview filming process.
Featuring Clients and Employees in Your Video
Featuring clients and employees in a commemorative video production can lend more credibility to the messaging of the video. Including clients can demonstrate the impact your company has had on their lives, while featuring employees can highlight the dedication and contributions of those who have helped your company succeed. Testimonials from clients can also reinforce the company’s brand reputation and customer-centric approach.
When featuring clients and employees, it’s important to ensure that the messaging aligns with the company’s values and that the video captures their stories authentically. The questions asked should be prepared in advance to encourage engaging and relevant responses. Your goal for including these individuals should be to showcase your company’s impact, and highlight the importance of a strong and dedicated workforce.
Commemorative Music Video
In conjunction with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) graduation convocation, the school created a music video to commemorate the graduates’ achievements.
The music video depicts five current SUSS undergraduate students demonstrating their various daily lives as full-time or part-time university students, as well as how they will eventually graduate and achieve success in life. It also features two of their former students, a singer and a violinist, performing the school song.
The production took a total of three and a half days to be completed. Some of the challenges faced during the production include making sure that all of the necessary scenes were shot given the tight schedule and multiple shooting locations to cover. However, with the help of a well planned shooting schedule, the project was able to be fulfilled on time with minimal hiccups. We also considered the schedule of the multiple talents involved since they would need to attend classes or have to juggle between their classes and jobs. Mindful planning led us to working around everyone’s schedule to ensure that the shoot can progress smoothly.
We are proud to have been the video production team for SUSS’ graduation music video. It is an important milestone in their lives and we’re pleased to be part of it. We wish all graduates all the best for their future endeavours as they continue to excel in their lives.
