What is vMix Live Streaming?
vMix is an industry-level visual mixing and switching software used for live streaming and webcasting. It uses the latest advances in computer hardware to provide live HD video mixing previously only available on expensive hardware mixers.
vMix’s capabilities allow us to provide more creative solutions to execute our client’s live streaming events. We are able to work around the limitations of other live streaming platforms like Zoom and Demio.
For instance, one limitation when using Zoom is that the platform only recognises a single image as your virtual background. This means that the platform does not allow us to overlay lower-thirds or additional graphics to your live stream.
With the use of vMix, our team is able to apply more sophisticated designs for your live stream event. We can have different layouts for the speakers and add in additional motion graphics during the live stream itself.
If required, our in-house graphic designer is able to design unique graphic layouts and overlays for your vMix live stream production.
vMix to vMix Call
Our vMix production crew uses vMix Pro license, allowing us to connect with your production team on a vMix-to-vMix Call. This enables our team to connect with your overseas live streaming partner at Full HD (1080p) resolution.
vMix call supports up to 8 remote dial-in guests who can join in the live stream production from their phone or desktop. This allows the presenters to dial in from the convenience of their own locations without having to be on set.
When calling in, we recommend that your guests join via a LAN cable connection with a proper headset and audio setup. While you could also join in via a WIFI connection, the internet connection may fluctuate and cause inconsistency in your video feed.
